Duojiedan living Buddha Career School

The school is located at Mentang village of Jiuzhi County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, where is more than 3,700 meters above sea level. The school is founded by Dorje Dan Rinpoche (a living Buddha), who is the abbot of Mentang Temple; and his aim is to establish a well-educated school for the needy children of pastoral families and to cultivate more high-quality talented people.
In 1997, with the support of leaders of Guoluo as well as donations and help from people in all walks of life, it took 13 years to establish the school. This school provides good educational conditions for many children.
At present, vocational schools have established basic cultural courses and national cultural courses. In the school, students just afford their own meal expenses, all the rest expenses are afforded by Dorje Dan Rinpoche’s with his personal financing.
