Mian Tang Qin mo school
The greatest influence in modern painting genre of Tibetan area. Founder is mian la dunzhu jia cuo. Founding has been 616 years of history.
Mian Tang Qin mo painting, painting style took their cue from India Nepal's painting style, ornamentation of scenery, plants and flowers with local features is added into the setting.statues testimonies rigorous, line symmetry precise, neat fluent, tonal and lively bright, rich change.
On May 20, 2006, Miantang Qinmo school of Tangka was listed in the First Directory of National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the State Council.
Pande Tangka is a charity institution that pays attention to cultivating successors of the Miantang Qinmo School of painting.
Mission and Vision
It’s a sustainable and professional platform built to prevent the loss of talents and protect the essence of the Miantang Qinmo School of painting.
When cultivating successors of the Miantang Qinmo School of painting, the institution also builds an art platform for people who are interested in it, professional collectors and researchers. In conclusion, the institution responds to China’s call of protecting intangible cultural heritage and makes contributions to the maintenance of traditional Tibetan culture.
The Lizhong Tangka Cultural Communication Center was established in December, 2010. In this center, orphans, disabled people and vulnerable groups from poor families have been enrolled to learn Tangka skills for free since then. In 2016, the Pande Tangka Communication Center was established on the basis of Lizhong.
Therefore, works of Pande Tangka is:
All painted by hand. (The processes include making canvases, making drafts, coloring, drawing the outline, and tracing the design in gold.) It shows a painter’s respect to his belief to paint by hand.
The processes of painting are completely done according to sadhana drubtab in the history of Miantang Qinmo. The 616-year painting skills and sadhana drubtab not only reconstruct the history, but also have powerful spiritual energy.
Natural minerals and plants are used as ingredients for pigment that guarantees fastness of over 1000 years.
The cost performance is high, because the main goal of Pande Tangka is to cultivate successors. The skill of a work is in direct proportion to its price.
